Nominet

For issues with domain names registered with Nominet by CNC then please follow this procedure:

• Customer Service commitments

Please contact us on 01273 384128 or email customerservice@cnc-ltd.co.uk. We will respond to all points of contact within 1 business day and aim to resolve any issues you have within 5 business days.

• Email contact point for abuse complaints

If you wish to raise a complaint about abuse you have received (phishing scams, spam emails etc), please contact us at customerservice@cnc-ltd.co.uk with as much detail about the abuse. We will investigate your complaint immediately.

• Complaints and escalation process

If you wish to make a complaint about a service you have received, please submit an email to us at customerservice@cnc-ltd.co.uk including as much detail from the issue you have. We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day and aim to resolve any issues within 5 business days.

If you’re not happy with the initial outcome of your complaint to do with domain names, than please feel free to escalate your issue to Nominet (the .uk registry) here: Nominet Complaints Link

As CNC are a registrant for Nominet domain names we comply with the following T&C’s:

Renewal of Domain names:

We will invoice you up to 60 days before the renewal of a domain name is required.

If the invoice remains unpaid after 30 days of being issued you will be contacted by telephone to check you still require the domain name.

In renewing domain(s) you are agreeing to the registrars and the registries terms and conditions as per the links on this page.

Please Note: If you do not renew your domain before its expiry date it will have all services we provide suspended and you will have up to 30 days (protected period) after to renew the domain name at the original renewal fee. After 30 days your domain will be suspended and will go into a 60 day grace period which you can still renew your domain name but with an additional redemption fee of £12 + VAT. This must be requested by email before the 80th day after your domain has expired, after 90 days your domain will be cancelled and deleted from the register and made available for resale through a third party registrar. CNC will not guarantee the renewal of a domain name.

Data Quality:

If a registrants data could not be verified by us, and all contact attempts by us failed while trying to get the registrant to update their information or submit evidence to prove validity CNC would suspend the domain name within 30 days using the lock facility.

Transferring or terminating a domain name:

We do not charge anything for transferring or terminating a domain name. Domain names are only terminated with written confirmation from the customer.
