CNC provides the very best in IT services, expertly delivered across the Southeast. But now, customers will also benefit from a wider product portfolio supported by FluidOne, a nationwide, market-leading provider of Connected Cloud solutions.

The acquisition of CNC by FluidOne builds on FluidOne’s strategy to invest in regional IT MSPs, creating a branch network for expertly delivered localised services for SME customers. The investment in CNC has expanded the Business IT Centre of Excellence (CoE) for FluidOne to a £37m revenue, with 1,100 customers, 164 employees, and five branch offices, led from Highlander’s Sheffield headquarters.

CNC is led by co-founder Graham Lind as Managing Director, supported by co-founder Gary Jowett as Operations and Marketing Director, Adrian Cragg as Technical Director, and Graham Dyer as Professional Services Director.

Graham Lind CNC Founder and Managing Director:

“Gary and I are very proud of the CNC business, and our great team of staff. We have experienced strong growth over the past 2 years and customer feedback of the services they require going forward, from their IT support partner, has given us the ambition to accelerate our growth and deliver quality services to even more local businesses.

Having met with Russell, Steve, and the wider FluidOne team, we see a great opportunity to build CNC as the trusted local IT provider, whilst benefiting from expert overlay in connectivity, mobile, Unified Communications, and Cyber from the wider FluidOne group. We see a strong match in culture, and putting the customer first with FluidOne, and the acquisition offers fantastic career opportunities to the CNC team.”

FluidOne supports the needs of 2,300 customers across a broad range of business sectors, including 200 channel resellers, with services covering connectivity, SD-WAN, cyber security, IT managed services, mobile, IoT, UCaaS and CCaaS. Established in 2006, FluidOne is an award-winning provider of Connected Cloud solutions with a £104m turnover and one of the consistently highest Net Promoter Scores (NPS) in the industry, securing 86 for October 2023.

FluidOne has a strong company culture enjoyed by 474 staff and was ranked in the UK’s top fifty large companies to work for in the Best Companies Awards 2023. FluidOne’s CEO, Russell Horton, is now Chairman of CNC, with FluidOne Directors Steve Brown, Simon Ward, Chris Rogers, and Roy Hastings also becoming board directors.
