Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed scheme that will help you

1. Cyber Essentials

- Patch management
- Malware protection
- Removable media controls
Cyber Essentials certification gives you peace of mind that the
security you have in place will protect you against the vast majority
of common cyber attacks.
2. Cyber Essentials Plus
Cyber Essentials Plus is a more in-depth check into your IT Systems.
This requires hands-on technical verification to be carried out.

Since October 2014, all suppliers bidding for Government contracts which involve the handling of personal information, and the provision of some ICT products and services, must be certified under the Cyber Essentials scheme.
