Welcome to our summer newsletter.

In this month's edition we introduce you to Microsoft's Insights for MyAnalytics tool. This is a tool which provides very useful information to help you and your employees become more efficient and so maximise productivity. We also explain the benefits of the latest Intel 9th generation core processor for desktop computers.

Helping your business to be more efficient and productive

Microsoft 'Insights for MyAnalytics'

Microsoft's new tool 'Insights for MyAnalytics' is designed to help users manage their time better and so be more productive.

Insights for MyAnalytics tracks the time you spend using Office 365 applications such as Outlook e-mail, and the time you spend in Office Calendar-scheduled meetings. It offers suggestions for using your time as effectively as possible.

Insights for MyAnalytics is currently available to all Office 365 E5 users by default, and as an add-on for subscribers to the E1 and E3 plans. Subscribers to other Office 365 plans have Insights for Outlook.

Tracking How You Spend Your Time

How you spend your time during the working day, and who you spend it with, are two key factors related to productivity. MyAnalytics gives you an insight into how much of your time is spent in meetings and using email. It also makes sure you don't miss an important email or forget a commitment you made to your co-workers.

Insights for MyAnalytics is an extension of your Outlook experience and works within Outlook to help you gain focus time, maintain your work relationships, and improve your overall work-life balance.

For example it:

• Suggests Task Reminders from emails that you promised a response to
• Suggests time in your calendar to reserve for focus time
• Adds important people so that unread emails from these people take priority
• Reports on the impact of after-hours emails you send

MyAnalytics Personal Dashboard

The personal dashboard offers an easy-to-read comprehensive view of how you spend your time.

The dashboard displays where your time is spent across 4 areas:

• Meetings
• Email
• Focus hours
• After hours

This helps you to see how productive you are and what you are spending the most time on each day.

You may well find that the tasks you're spending the most time doing aren't necessarily the most productive. Many users find that much of their time is spent in meetings and sending and replying to emails. MyAnalytics helps you to identify these time drains and offers actionable suggestions to improve productivity.

Insights for MyAnalytics is a separate product from MyAnalytics for Outlook. MyAnalytics for Outook does not have access to the Dashboard.
