Microsoft StaffHub is a new application for Office 365 designed to help staff manage their workday. StaffHub provides:
- Schedule management
- Information sharing
- Connection to other work-related applcations and resources
StaffHub's primary users are those staff who don't tend to work from desktop computers and who have different schedules from week to week. It is especially helpful to employees in retail, hospitality, restaurants and other industries with different shift patterns.
No more paper schedules, phone calls or other manual processes! With StaffHub you can manage your work schedule and communicate with co-workers in one streamlined system.
The StaffHub App is available for web, iOS and Android devices.
Staff can view schedules, swap shifts, request time off, find information and catch up with the rest of the team.
Managers can create schedules, approve requests for leave, and update and share information with the team.
There is also a chat function. So, for example, managers could use their team chat to make informal announcements or to share relevant files. The chats support photo sharing as well. Very useful for showing a manager something on the shopfloor that needs their input.
The software is available on its own with the Office 365 F1 plan and is part of the E1, E3, E5 and Business Premium plans as standard. The Office 365 F1 plan also allows access to email and calendars.
