Cold and misty mornings are with us. Hope the transition from a lovely, warm September to a chilly October hasn't been too much of a shock!

Plus some news about web domain names. And in this month's "Keyboard Shortcuts" we feature some quick ways to access and view web pages.

What is it and how can you protect your business?

The latest threat to businesses is "Zero-Day," also known as Zero-Hour.

It is known as a "Zero-Day" attack because it is not publicly reported or announced before becoming active. This leaves no time (or zero days) to create fixes or advise workarounds to resolve it.

Security software provider SonicWall is now releasing Capture Advanced Threat Protection Service for their Firewall to combat this threat.

SonicWALL Capture Service extends firewall threat protection to detect and prevent zero-day attacks. The firewall inspects traffic, and detects and blocks intrusions and known malware. Suspicious files are sent to the SonicWALL Capture cloud service for analysis. Here, in a virtual environment, suspicious code is executed and its results analysed, maximizing zero-day threat detection.
